OUR HOMES

We currently have 10 homes available for placements. In each home, each resident has their own individual fully furnished bedroom. We also give our residents access to high standard living facilities which include:

    • Fully equipped kitchens
    • Fully furnished communal spaces, including a lounge, dining area and garden space
    • 24hr CCTV protection and alarm system

24/7 STAFF SUPPORT

We provide 24/7 support to our residents, including on-site staff in our 24hrs accommodation, and an out of hours emergency call facility. Additional staffing and support is also provided where necessary in accordance with any of the residents’ individual circumstances.

KEYWORK SESSIONS

Our residents are required to participate in regular one-to-one and group keywork sessions. These are designed to meet each resident’s health and emotional needs, promote and maintain positive relationships, develop interpersonal skills and explore their future career and life prospects. Whilst supporting residents towards these objectives, we also work in close partnership with social workers, the families of the residents and other professionals to maximize each residents’ progress. Each resident is also assigned a key worker who will devise a semi-independent plan which identifies the resident’s areas for development. This is continuously monitored to ensure the resident is progressing and the set targets are being met.

HEALTH AND WELL BEING

All our residents are registered with their home’s local health facilities, such as a GP and dentist, and are supported by staff to arrange and attend appointments. Keywork sessions also provide residents with information on various areas of health and well-being. We also regularly organise self-development sessions with external professionals for our residents for additional health and well-being support such as personal trainers and therapists.

WORK EXPERIENCE AND EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

We recognise the difficulties that some of our residents may face when thinking about their future steps, so we strive to inspire and support our residents in achieving success by creating opportunities for them to develop their skills in education, employment, and networking. We have established links with local businesses and successful entrepreneurs from various sectors (including the construction, carpentry, beauty, health, and retail industries) to deliver workshops and provide work experience for our residents to partake in to further increase their career opportunities in areas that interest them.
