How we support the young people

We understand that many looked-after children face different challenges ranging from mental health issues, unstable relationships, trauma and other social and emotional issues.

One of our approaches is providing environmentally friendly homes where young people can feel safe and empowered to thrive. All our homes are well furnished with modern facilities and are located in respectable residential areas with great transport links and easy access to community resources.

In addition to providing a stable environment we also believe in equipping our residents with independent living skills they need to succeed in their future homes as well as in the community. This is done through daily keywork sessions. These sessions cover budgeting, cooking, safety, relationships, health and hygiene, education and employment and lots more.

At Go Ahead Homes, our dedicated staff are the driving force behind our mission to empower the young people. We tailor our support to meet their specific needs as their welfare and wellbeing is at the centre of our work ethos. We also provide one to one care and support. This is because we understand that every individual has their own unique journey and may face unique challenges.
